The leather used is vegetable-tanned cowhide produced by Tochigi Leather. During production, major flaws are avoided; however, due to the natural characteristics of genuine leather, minor scratches and uneven coloration may be present. Selecting and using only completely flawless sections would not only increase costs, but would also result in an overly uniform, refined appearance similar to that of modern brand-name bags, potentially detracting from the realism expected of government-issued military equipment. The belt buckle on many replicas is made of brass, but the authentic item uses blackened steel. This can be confirmed by the fact that it attracts a magnet. Taking this detail into account, the buckle on this item has been faithfully reproduced in steel.

How to Wear

Pass the pouch loops through the belt and wear it from the left hip toward the back.
