This is a lanyard used by Japanese military personnel when carrying a pistol. While many commercially available replica lanyards are white, the official color is khaki.

Each lanyard is carefully crafted using Japanese-made cotton braiding and cowhide leather. The leather parts are made from thick genuine leather and have been carefully skived. Since natural leather is used, some scratches or wrinkles may be visible. For details on the production process, please refer to my article.

The lanyard has been tested on Marushin’s Type 14 pistol and Hartford’s Type 26 pistol.
For the Type 14 pistol, the ring for attaching the lanyard is small, so please attach it gently while carefully pulling the attachment thread. Once installed, remove the attachment thread.
